The Roads Hotel - Hoosier Haunt

 

The Roads Hotel was built in 1893. In it's hundred years+ existence it has been a hotel, bordello, speakeasy, bed and breakfast, and residence. It's most infamous period was during the early 1900's when it was frequented by John Dillinger, Al Capone, and other gangsters of the era. Dillinger in particular was a "regular" to the establishment during it's bordello days and speakeasy days. The Roads Hotel is probably the most haunted location NCP has investigated. Actually number of entities is growing every investigation. You can encounter the Blue Lady who has been seen most often downstairs, but in the front Parlor as well. A Red Orb has been sighted by past owners and has been observed many times by NCP investigators. The  Great Room has witnessed growls, shadow people, a visual white orb that manipulates a Maglite. The Front Sitting Room seems to be occupied by a very young child.

The upstairs rooms have unique residents that have as yet to checkout. One room in particular seems to always have a negative effect on anyone entering. Its occupant can be aggressive. A lonely young lady of the night still wanders the front area, always wanting visitors to stay. One very mischievous young boy seems to intrigue investigators, by messing with equipment and levitating objects about the upstairs to downstairs. He can be found anywhere in the building.

The most unique entity of all seems to be a cat, which I have named Caspar. Caspar can be found anywhere, but has been photographed in the dining room. He has been seen running up and down the main stairs. EVP's of his purring and meowing have been caught as well. He also like to rub against visitors legs, particularly women.

Numerous EVPs have been caught at this location by three groups to date. They range from small children to a gangster like voice. Many are intelligent full sentence replies. Few seem to be residual. Music, singing and whistling are common to be caught as well. Footsteps, shadow people, crawlers in the front parlor, a white apparition in parlor and new kitchen, all add to the haunted atmosphere of the Roads Hotel.

 
Paranormal Teams
For the evening from 8 PM till 4 AM (8 Hours)

You will have the run of the hotel to conduct your own investigation. A representative of the family or NCP will be there to assist you with any issues or questions.

Rate of $30 per person / Minimum Charge is $240 or eight persons.

All persons will be charged a flat fee of $30 each,
with the minimum stated above.

All teams should bring there own first aid kit.

I would not recommended over 15 people at any investigation.

    For the general public " The Paranormal Experience"
    North Central Paranormal will be conducting tours of the Roads Hotel
    for groups who are interested in experiencing what it is like to investigate the paranormal.
     All proceeds will be given to family of Logan.
    Cost is $25 per person.
    THIS IS NOT FOR EXPERIENCED PARANORMAL INVESTIGATORS.
    GENERAL PUBLIC or NOVICE LEVEL ONLY!

    Minimum of 7 in a group, but will take up to 12 persons.

    NCP will demonstrate how paranormal investigators work .
    Spectators may encounter some real paranormal activity along the way.
    No ghost hunting allowed except equipment supplied by NCP.

    No one under 18 years old without a parent or guardian.
    No one under 12 years old allowed due to the intensity that activity can happen.

    About Logan:
    Logan, the owner of the hotel's son; was paralyzed when he was struck and left behind by a drunk driver of a truck. The medical bills have been staggering for his family. So to help them out we at North Central Paranormal have agreed to help organize and coordinate all paranormal investigations at the hotel. In the photo section, you will see some photos of Logan. His problems are 100% factual.
